Pricing and Work Agreements

Pricing

From 1 July 2026, my rate per hour is £23.

If you have a project that requires ongoing input, such as web content editing, I usually bill for the hours I work on a monthly basis.

For a one-off project, I am happy to negotiate a single fee based on word count and the service I am providing. I will usually ask to see a sample of the text before finalising the quote, in order to determine as precisely as possible what the work will involve.

If the parameters of the project change at any point, such as the client wishing to change or add in a significant portion of text, this will require a re-negotiation of the original fee.

Work Agreements

Before beginning a project, it is my practice to draw up a work agreement with my clients, outlining the project description and requirements (including any specific focuses the client requests), the deliverables, the deadline and the fee.

The purpose of the agreement is to ensure both parties are clear on expectations and outcomes, but it is always open to re-negotiation should circumstances change.
